Fees for selling vehicles on eBay Motors

The fees on this page apply to listings on eBay.com. If you list an item on another eBay site (for example, eBay.com.au or eBay.co.uk), the fees for that site will apply.

The fees for selling a vehicle on eBay Motors are different from the fees for selling items in other categories. On ebay.com the amount you pay depends on the listing package you choose — Basic, Premium, or Plus. Each listing package offers different levels of bundled features for a set fee.

Valuable insights

Your items must meet eBay's selling requirements and eligibility criteria in each country where you sell. In order to list vehicles on ebay.com and international eBay sites (e.g. ebay.de, ebay.co.uk, ebay.it and others), you must meet local requirements. eBay encourages members to familiarize themselves with the laws regarding the sale of vehicles prior to the sale of a vehicle. These may include, but are not limited to: eligibility for cross-border trade, import policies, availability of import release documents, seller licensing rules, title requirements, emissions standards and registration policies, and others.

Please note: When you sell to international buyers, you must comply with the laws of both your country and the buyer's country. You are responsible for the calculation and remittance of any taxes owed to any governmental entity based on your eBay activities.
