Starting on 10 August 1, 2020 sellers will begin to see the Promoted Listing Trending Ad Rate replaced by a Suggested Ad Rate. It helps find the optimal balance between performance and cost.
Trending Ad Rate was calculated based on items sold via Promoted Listings by sellers in the same categories.
Suggested Ad Rate will be calculated based on a variety of factors that may include item attributes, seasonality, past performance, and current competition.
While Trending Ad Rate gave sellers an idea of how similar sellers are setting their ad rates, the new Suggested Ad Rate uses a more personalized approach and helps sellers find the optimal balance between performance and cost.
