The crisis in Ukraine has profoundly impacted Ukrainian sellers and disrupted the global economy. Since February 2022, eBay has supported them by waiving all selling fees for Ukrainian sellers, encouraging eBay sellers to donate to charitable relief organizations, and protecting sellers who ship to Ukraine from late shipment penalties, feedback, and other account penalties.

Due to local situation that is affecting regional and international sellers, eBay is putting in place seller protections to reduce the impact these events will have on their accounts. The protection will remain in effect until the situation in the region improves.
If you currently have items in transit from Ukraine:
Protection is valid for transactions or orders shipped from Ukraine with handling dates after February 20, 2022 and will remain in effect until the situation in the region improves.
The following defects will be removed from the Seller's Performance Metrics:
- Late shipment rate
- Seller cancellation
- Item not received
eBay will also remove all negative or neutral seller feedback on these transactions.
If you currently have items in transit to Ukraine:
Note that your packages may not reach the buyer and may be scheduled for a return to you. Please regularly check your tracking on these orders for the most up to date information. Seller protections will apply retroactively to all shipments to Ukraine after February 20, 2022 and will remain in effect until the situation in the region improves.
If your business is impacted, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:
- Your late shipment rate
- Your valid tracking upload rate
- “Item not received” cases due to late delivery
- Defects resulting from transactions you canceled
- Negative or neutral feedback from these transactions
You can continue to support your favorite charitable organizations by donating a portion of your sales on eBay. When you donate 10% or more through Sell for a Cause on eBay for Charity, your item will feature a charity ribbon that will grab buyers’ attention. Your item may also be featured in the Charity Shop and sell faster — even at a premium price.
