Angelica is a freelance jewelry and graphic designer from Mexico. Tired of not having access to the benefits of a formal job due to her motor disability, she began to look for a way to generate more income. In addition to Angelica's disability, her mother was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and they agreed that Angelica would work from home. She recalled her passion for collecting Back to the Future items, Pokemon and Nintendo amiibos since 2008 — and decided to sell them on eBay.

Angelica's first sale was in May 2014. After that, she began selling used and vintage Nintendo, GameCube and NES cartridges. Later on, she expanded her catalog by adding magazines, albums, stamps, Playmobil catalogs, Nintendo Wii U cups and cartridges, and other items.

In October 2015, Pepsi Perfect was launched, a special edition bottle of the soft drink, which became Angelica’s flagship product. Her graphic designer skills helped her make the product photos so good that some salespeople started stealing them to sell the same product. The rarity and limited quantity of Pepsi Perfect made it a highly sought after item in Mexico and in the world because the design in each country was different. With this “boom”, Angelica's products have reached Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Brazil, Chile and Australia. However, the majority of buyers are from the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy.

What Angelica values most about eBay is selling in dollars and knowing her own sales ranking. On the other hand, not fully speaking English has been one of the obstacles she has faced, but her boyfriend and some of her friends help her when she has to deal with clients who don’t speak Spanish.

Her congenital hip dysplasia has never prevented her from constantly expanding her catalog, in fact, she dedicates 100% of her time to her eBay store, and in the future she plans to return to the pre-pandemic sales level.

“It is a great responsibility, you give everything for your family,” says Angelica.
