Presale listings on eBay

What is a presale listing?

Presale means listing an item for sale on a marketplace before its official release date. In such cases, delivery is scheduled for a later date.

eBay has specific requirements for presale listings, which are reflected in a special policy.

This policy helps ensure customers are protected by eBay’s buyer and seller guarantees. In order to protect buyer and seller guarantees, presale listings must follow eBay policy, including listing the date the item will be available to ship.
