Incentive Value

If you fulfil the Incentive Criteria during the Promotion Period, eBay will make an incentive payment to you (the “Incentive”) equivalent to:

  1. 70% off the eBay Reserve Price listing fee that you would’ve paid for the applicable listing.

Note: the Incentive only applies to your listings that use the Reserve Price Auction Listing Format but fail to sell under Successful Transactions during the Promotion Period.

Incentive Criteria (Promotion Specific)

To qualify for an Incentive payment, you must, during the Promotion Period and using this eBay account, meet or exceed the following:

  1. create listing(s) on the Applicable eBay Site utilizing the “Reserve Price” Auction Listing Format;
  2. ensure that Reserve Price for each listing is not changed after the listing(s) goes live; and
  3. the targets set out in the table below:

Incentive Criteria (General)

At all times during the Promotion Period you must ensure that you:

  1. never have a negative balance on your eBay seller account;
  2. maintain an “Above Standard” eBay seller status;
  3. are not subject to eBay action(s) under BBE Outlier or similar; and
  4. do not breach any eBay Policies.

Key Definitions

In this Promotion the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:

BBE Outlier” means a bad buyer experience (“BBE”) rate outlier policy. Sellers with a higher than average BBE rate may be subject to a range of actions (for more information, click here).

eBay Policies” means any and all policies maintained by eBay in connection with its business, as may be amended from time to time.

INR” means Item Not Received. Sellers with a higher than average INR rate may be subject to a range of actions (for more information, refer to BBE Outlier);

Reserve Price ” means the minimum amount that you, as a seller, would be willing to sell an item for during the Promotion Period. If the reserve price isn't met, the item won't be sold.

Reserve Price Auction Listing Format” means (a) you list an item for sale in an eBay auction, (b) you choose a Reserve Price, (c) interested buyers place bids at or above the Reserve Price and (d) when the auction ends, you sell to the highest bidder who has bid above the Reserve Price. If no one bids at or above the Reserve Price, the item won’t be sold.

Reserve Price GMV Penetration” means the ratio of GMV you achieved from items you sold under Successful Transactions using the Reserve Price feature to the total GMV you achieved from all of your sold items under Successful Transactions.

Reserve Price LL Penetration” means the ratio of your live listings utilizing the Reserve Price feature to the total count of your live listings.

Reserve Price Sold Items Penetration” means the ratio of items you sold under Successful Transactions using the Reserve Price feature to the total number of items you sold under Successful Transactions.

Seller Hub” means a centralized hub for seller account management, providing an overview of sales performance, listing activity, and alerts for any issues or necessary actions.

Successful Transaction” means a transaction that meets all of the Incentive Criteria and excludes transactions:

  1. that are refunded (whether fully or partially), not completed or cancelled subsequently;
  2. where the products are either returned or disputed by the buyer for any reason, including (but not limited to) in connection with any claim on account of INR or ‘Item Significantly Not As Described’ that is decided against the eBay Seller; and
  3. with items that remain unpaid for.

Incentive Payment

Incentive payments under this Promotion are subject to the following:

  1. eBay will “claw back” Incentive payments that are made to you for listings that use the Reserve Price feature which get sold after the Promotion Period; and
  2. eBay will only provide Incentives for eBay Reserve Price listing fee waivers for “Buyer Initiated cancellation” items that use the Reserve Price feature.

Promotion terms & conditions

By participating in this Promotion, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in full at Promotion T&Cs (the “Promotion T&Cs”).

Here is a summary of the key points in the Promotion T&Cs:

  1. Participation: Participation in the Promotion does not guarantee entitlement to any Incentive.
  2. eBay’s Determination: eBay’s decisions on all matters relating to this Promotion are final.
  3. Confidentiality: You may not disclose or publicize any of eBay’s confidential information to any third party, including to any current or former eBay Sellers or Buyers.
  4. Construction: If there is any conflict between the Promotion T&Cs and the eBay Policies, the eBay Policies shall take precedence.
