Full conditions of the competition "eBay Birthday celebration"
Basic provisions
1.1. Venues for the Contest: page https://www.facebook.com/ebaylatvija (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).
1.2. The Competition is open to citizens of Latvia who have reached the age of 18 and are permanently residing in the territory of Latvia (hereinafter referred to as "Participants ").
1.3. Participation in the Contest implies familiarization and full agreement of the Participant with these Terms and Conditions.
Period of the Contest
2.1. The general term of the Contest is from August 30, 2021 to September 2, 2021 (day included).
Prize fund
3.1. The total number of guaranteed prizes is 10.
3.2. Prizes:
3.2.1. Winners in the Post Comment category receive a $25 eBay coupon. One winner cannot receive more than one Prize.
Contents of the Competition
4.1. To participate in the Contest, you should be a subscriber of the Platform, like the post about the announcement of the Competition, and write a comment. In the comment, Participants write the best gift ever received or bought on eBay. The number of comments is not limited. Each comment must have a different gift and explanation given.
Answers in the comments are accepted daily from 12:00 GMT +2 on August 30, 2021 to 23:59 GMT +2 on September 2, 2021 .
Criteria for determining the winners
5.1. The winners of the "Post Comment" nomination are determined by the commission representatives, which will choose an answer:
- 10 winners are determined
- A participant can give an unlimited number of comments. Each of them should be a separate comment with a different gift and explanation given
- Compliance of the commentary with the requirements of the Competition specified in clause 4.1
- The winners of the "Commentary to the post" nomination (in posts with a competition) are determined on September no later than 21:00 GMT +2
5.2. We reserve the right to check any comments and disqualify the Participant, whose comments, in our opinion, include abusive, offensive, or provocative material. We reserve the right not to take into account the actions of any Participant who tries to interfere with the process of the Contest, post a post or comment that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or take fraudulent actions or actions that discredit eBay business reputation and / or the Competition held by the Company.
Summarizing
6.1. Each Winner will be tagged in the publication with the winners on September 3, 2021 on the Platform.
6.2. Prizes specified in clause 3.2 will be sent to the winners by personal message.
6.3. Payment of the cash equivalent of the value of the prizes or their replacement with other prizes is not provided, except for the cases stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.
6.4. Prizes will not be awarded if the Participant does not comply with the rules of the Contest.
6.5. By participating in the Contest, all Contestants agree that they will be treated as persons who have accepted and undertake to comply with these Contest Terms and Conditions.
6.6. The Winners of the Contest have the right to declare their refusal to receive the prize.
Final provisions
7.1. The decisions of the Organizer on all issues related to the Contest are final and not subject to revision, unless otherwise provided by these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. The Organizer reserves the right to post additional information about the Competition or change the rules of the Competition without prior notification of the Participants.
7.3. The Organizer reserves the right not to enter into written negotiations or other contacts with the Contest Participants.
7.4. If, for any reason, any stage of this Competition cannot be conducted as planned, including reasons caused by infection with computer viruses, Internet problems, defects, manipulations, unauthorized interference, illegal / unfair actions of Participants or third parties, falsification, technical malfunctions or any reason beyond the control of the Organizer that distorts or affects the performance, safety, honesty, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, change or temporarily suspend it, or nullify the results of the competition and start it again.
7.5. The fact of participation in the Contest means full agreement of the Participants with these Rules.
7.6. The Contest is not a lottery or other risk-based game. There is no fee for participation in the Contest.
7.7. All Participants of the Competition shall independently pay all expenses incurred by them in connection with participation in the Competition (including, without limitation, expenses related to Internet access)
7.8. In the event of a violation by the Contest Participant of these Terms and Conditions, the Organizer has the right to demand compensation from the Participant, including, but not limited to, the value of the prize received by such a Participant.
Other conditions
8.1. The Organizer of the Contest is not responsible for any loss or damage (incurred indirectly or directly), as well as physical damage caused in connection with the Contest or the receipt of a prize by the Winner.
8.2. From the moment the Prize is handed over to the Winner, the Winner bears all risks in relation to the Prize (including tax).
8.3. The Organizer of the Contest is not responsible for the inaccuracy or inaccuracy of information provided on the Internet and posted by third parties (not the Organizer and not the Organizer's Partner), for the operation of the equipment or software used in the Contest, as well as for any technical error or errors that manifested itself during the Contest and includes skipping and deleting information, interruption of communication, delay in the operation of software or information transfer, failure of a telephone line or communication line, mobile or satellite communication networks, congestion of the Internet data transmission network or load on a web server -site, failure of software, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to the Contest Entries, as well as damage caused to the computer of the Participant or any other person as a result of participation in the Contest or downloading materials about it from the Internet.
8.4. If, for any reason, this Competition cannot be held in accordance with the approved plan due to technical problems, unauthorized interference, fraudulent actions or for any other reason beyond the control of the Organizer and capable of affecting administration, security, fairness and proper course of the Contest, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person who tried to interfere with the process of the Contest, as well as cancel, suspend the Contest or change the conditions of its conduct.
8.5. In the event of force majeure, including war or an act of terrorism, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Contest or change the conditions for its holding.
8.6. Contestants are responsible for compliance with copyright laws for posted texts. The Organizer is not responsible for any violations of copyright and intellectual property rights committed by the Contest Participants.
