What is the promotion?

Eligible ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de sellers who have been invited to participate by email and/or by a message in My eBay Messages and/or see the offer in Promotional Offers in My eBay can create up to 400 listings per calendar month on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.fr, ebay.it and ebay.es using eBaymag during the Promotion Period up to their selling limits allowance in any eligible category using fixed price format without paying an insertion fee per listing. Other fees still apply.

Who’s eligible?

Sellers with one of the following initial account registration sites: ebay.com or ebay.co.uk or ebay.de. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is non-transferable.

Sellers must be registered as a resident in one of the following countries*.

The promotion is valid only for one account that is the account with initial registration at the eligible site, even if the seller has active accounts at other eligible sites.

Sellers need to have a “business” eBay account in order to be able to list items on ebay.de site.

Sellers need to create their listings using eBaymag listing tool.

Only sellers who have an eBay seller account and have placed their credit card on file are eligible.

Only sellers who are PayPal verified are eligible.

Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards in each region (i.e., in all 4 programs: UK, US, DE, Global) are eligible. Please view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must have been invited to participate and have an active eBay Basic Store subscription. Sellers that have been invited to participate will have received an email and/or a message in My eBay Messages and/or can see the offer in Promotional Offers in My eBay.

If any seller has an existing basic store subscription, the insertion fees charged from the moment the seller accepted RSVP till 11.59pm CET 31 May 2021 will be refunded for the other 5 sites where the invited seller does not have a store up to a maximum of 400 listings for each site where seller accepted RSVP. If any seller is a new store subscriber during the Promotion Period, the insertion fees charged from the moment the seller subscribed and accepted RSVP to 11.59pm CET on 31 May 2021 will be refunded for the other 5 sites where the invited seller does not have a store up to a maximum of 400 listings for each site where seller accepted RSVP.

If an invited seller upgrades their store during the Promotion Period s/he will remain/becomes eligible for the Promotional Offer. If an invited seller downgrades to a Starter store subscription or cancels their store subscription during the Promotion Period, then s/he is no longer eligible for the Promotional Offer.

When is it?

Sellers can accept this promotion at any time after they receive the marketing communication (e-mail) and/or message in My eBay Messages and/or saw the offer in Promotional Offers in My eBay till 11.59 pm CET on 31 May 2021. To participate in the promotion Seller must accept the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/ RSVP link(s) in the invitation email or clicking “get offer”/”activate” in Promotional Offers in My eBay on each eligible site. Once sellers accept the offer as described above they can start to list their items. The promotion is only valid from the moment of the acceptance of the offer.

Promotion period — is a term that starts when a seller accepts the promotional offer and valid till 11.59 pm CET on 31 May 2021.

The Promotion Period shall not be prolonged based on the date of its acceptance by a seller. eBay has a right to terminate the Promotional Offer with prior notification to the invited sellers.

How do I get the promotional rate?

Sellers who have been invited to the promotion need to accept the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/ RSVP link in the invitation email (i.e. moment of your acceptance) or clicking “get offer”/”activate” in Promotional Offers in My eBay on each eligible site. Sellers who activate the offer and list items using eBaymag with the seller’s qualifying eBay user ID will automatically receive zero insertion fees on their next listings.

The Promotional Offer only applies to items listed directly on the international eBay sites indicated in the invitation email (“eligible sites”) using the eBaymag listing tool.

Each invited seller gets up to 400 insertion free listings on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.fr, ebay.it and ebay.es during the Promotion Period. For listings above this cap eBay will charge standard eBay fees that apply to the site on which the seller is listing.

Items must be listed during the Promotion Period in an eligible category using a listing in fixed price format. Your normal selling limits allowance still applies.

Any eligible item previously scheduled to start during the Promotion Period will qualify for the Promotional Offer, provided they meet the limits requirements.

For items listed in 2 categories, only insertion fee for the first category will be eligible for the Promotional Offer. Standard insertion fees will be charged for listing the same item in a second category, according to the standard eBay fees that apply to the site on which you are listing.

Any sellers who have NOT been invited to participate are not eligible.

Any sellers with accounts that are “Suspended” and/or “on hold” are excluded.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have clicked Accept offer, but have not listed items using eBaymag are not eligible.

Sellers who have listed their items using eBaymag, but have not clicked Accept offer are not eligible.

This Promotional Offer excludes:

• the following categories
  • US: Real Estate (10542), eBay Motors (Auto-Parts-and-Vehicles) (6000)
  • UK: Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles (9800), Property (10542)
  • DE: Auto & Motorrad: Fahrzeuge (9800), Immobilien (10542), Motorboote (48329), Segelboote (132148), Wassermotorräder (1295), Sonstige Boote (36623), Flugzeuge (36657)
  • FR: Automobiles et motocyclettes (9800), Immobilier (10542)
  • IT: Auto, moto e altri veicoli (9800)
  • ES: Motor: vehículos (9800);
• identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate listings policy applicable to the site on which you’re listing;
• any listings that are above the limits described above on each eligible site;
• any listings that are relisted or renewed outside of the Promotion Period;
• any listings created during the Promotion Period that are scheduled to start after the Promotion Period;
• any listings created using not the eBaymag listing tool;
• any listings that don’t comply with our listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies applicable to the site on which you’re listing.

Items listed on ebay.de site must be created in German language.

This Promotional Offer isn't an offer to increase your selling limits allowance. You will only be able to receive the benefit of this Promotional Offer for those listings up to the limit of your selling allowance.

General Terms

eBay is continuously monitoring any unusual behaviour like moving the inventory from other eBay seller accounts to take advantage of this Promotional Offer. Those activities are prohibited, and eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay’s opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards.

Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The terms of the current Terms and Conditions for the Promotional Offer shall prevail over the other communication including marketing communications, invitation you received in respect to this Promotional Offer.
