Terms and Conditions to upgrade to the UK Featured/Anchor shop

What is the promotion?

Eligible eBay.com, eBay.co.uk or eBay.de sellers who have been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages can upgrade their eBay.co.uk shop subscription to the next level by clicking “Accept offer” during the Announced Period. These sellers will only pay the current shop fee rate during the Promotional Subscription Period (the ‘Promotional Rate’). As an example, during the Promotional Subscription Period an eligible seller can upgrade from Basic to Featured and only pay the Basic shop fee, or from Featured to Anchor and only pay the Featured shop fee.

The ‘Promotional Subscription Period’ is the period during which the selected sellers will keep their current shop level rate. The Promotional Subscription Period starts from the day the eligible seller subscribes by clicking “Accept offer” during the Announced Period and lasts 3 calendar months.

Please note: Sellers’ upgraded eBay UK Shop level will remain active after the Promotional Subscription Period.

• If the last day of the Shop promotion is different from the last day of the calendar month, you will be charged for the remaining days of the running month. The charge will be billed on the last day of the month in which the promotion ends.
• If you wish to cancel your Shop subscription after the promotion period and want to avoid the extra fees as per the previous point, please cancel your promotion on the last day of the month, prior to end of the promotion period.

Who is eligible?

Sellers with one of the following initial account registration sites: eBay.com or eBay.co.uk or eBay.de. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is non-transferable.

Seller must be registered as a resident in one of the countries listed at the bottom of these terms*.

The promotion is valid only for one account that is the account with initial registration at the eligible site, even if the seller has active accounts at other eligible sites.

Sellers need to have a “business” eBay account in order to be able to upgrade their eBay UK Shop subscription.

Only sellers who have an eBay seller account and have placed their credit card on file are eligible.

Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must have been invited to participate and must have an active eBay UK Basic/Featured Shop subscription. Sellers that have been invited to participate will have received an email and/or a message in My eBay. Please refer to «How do I get the Promotional Rate?» for more details.

When is it?

Once sellers accept the offer as described above, the Promotional Subscription Period begins and applies for the next 3 calendar months, during which the seller pays a discounted subscription fee.

How do I get the promotional rate?

Sellers who activate the offer and upgrade their Shop subscription with the seller’s qualifying eBay user ID, will automatically receive the Promotional Rate on their next invoice. Sellers subscribed to a UK Basic Shop may upgrade to a UK Featured Shop. Similarly, sellers subscribed to a UK Featured Shop may upgrade to an UK Anchor Shop.

Shop cancellation information

A new level of Shop subscription will be deemed to start on the day of upgrade and will remain active after the Promotional Subscription Period at the level and term selected during sign up.

The maximum value of the fee discount received for this promotion will be based on the eBay UK Shop level that is selected during sign up.

This promotion only applies to existing eBay Basic and Featured Shop subscribers and is only valid for subscriptions for UK (eBay.co.uk).

Any sellers who have NOT been invited to participate are not eligible.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have clicked Accept offer, but have not actively upgraded to Featured/Anchor eBay UK Shop during the Announced Period are not eligible.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have actively upgraded to Featured/Anchor eBay UK Shop, but have not clicked Accept offer during the Announced Period are not eligible.

The Promotional Rate does not apply to eBay UK Shop upgrades with a start date prior to the date you received the promotional offer. Additionally, the Promotional Rate will not apply to eBay UK Shop upgrades that have happened after the Announced Period.

General Terms

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay’s opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
