What is the promotion?

Eligible eBay sellers who have been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages and have actively subscribed to the Monthly or Yearly Basic eBay Shop on ebay.co.uk during the Announced Promo Period will pay no Subscription fee related to their subscription to a Basic eBay Shop during the Promotional Subscription Period.

Please note: Your eBay Basic Shop subscription will automatically renew after the Promotional Subscription Period. Your Basic Shop subscription will be deemed to start on the day you sign up in accordance with the Shop terms.

• If the last day of the Shop promotion is different from the last day of the calendar month, you will be charged for the remaining days of the running month. The charge will be billed on the last day of the month in which the promotion ends.
• If you wish to cancel your Shop subscription after the promotion period and want to avoid the extra fees as per the previous point, please cancel your promotion on the last day of the month, prior to end of the promotion period.

Who is eligible?

Sellers must be registered as a resident in one of the following countries*

Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is non-transferable.

The promotion is valid only for one account that has been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages, even if the seller has other active eBay accounts.

Only sellers who have an eBay seller account and have placed their credit card on file are eligible.

Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must have been invited to participate. Sellers that have been invited to participate will have received an email and/or a message in My eBay Messages.

When is it?

Sellers can accept this promotion during the Announced Promo Period.

The Announced Promo Period starts on the day the seller receives the marketing communication (email) or message in My eBay Messages and is effective for 30 calendar days. To participate in the promotion Seller must accept the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/RSVP link in the invitation email or the message in My eBay Messages and then subscribe to the Basic Shop on ebay.co.uk during the Announced Promo Period.

Once sellers accept the offer as described above, the Promotional Subscription Period starts and applies for the next 3 calendar months, during which the seller pays no fees for their Basic Shop subscription.

The promotion is only valid from the moment of the acceptance of the offer. eBay has a right to terminate the Promotional Offer with prior notification to the invited sellers.

How do I get the promotional rate?

Sellers who have accepted the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/RSVP link(s) in the invitation email (i.e. moment of your acceptance) and then subscribed to Basic Shop on ebay.co.uk will automatically receive the subscription fee discount on their next invoice.

Sellers will not see the discount in the subscription flow. The subscription fee discount will be applied to their account during the following billing cycle after they subscribe.

Shop cancellation information

A Shop subscription will be deemed to start on the day of sign-up and will remain active after the Promotional Subscription Period at the level and term selected during sign up.

• If the last day of the Shop promotion is different from the last day of the calendar month, you will be charged for the remaining days of the running month. The charge will be billed on the last day of the month in which the promotion ends.
• If you wish to cancel your Shop subscription after the promotion period and want to avoid the extra fees as per the previous point, please cancel your promotion on the last day of the month, prior to end of the promotion period.

The maximum value of the fee discount received for this promotion will be based on the eBay Shop level that is selected during sign up.

Summary of Restrictions & Exclusions

eBay Shop fees, terms, and benefits will still be in effect.

This promotion is only valid for subscriptions on ebay.co.uk.

Any sellers who have NOT been invited to participate are not eligible.

Any sellers with accounts that are «Suspended» and/or «on hold» are excluded.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have clicked Accept offer, but have not actively subscribed to Basic eBay Shop during the Announced Period will not be able to participate in this promotion.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have actively subscribed to Basic eBay Shop, but have not clicked Accept offer during the Announced Period before subscription will not be able to participate in this promotion.

The Promotional Rate does not apply to eBay Shop subscriptions with a start date prior to the date you received the promotional offer. Additionally, the Promotional Rate will not apply to eBay Shop subscriptions that have happened after the Announced Period.

General Terms

eBay is continuously monitoring any unusual behaviour. eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay’s opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards.

Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The terms of the current Terms and Conditions for the Promotional Offer shall prevail over the other communication including marketing communications, invitation you received in respect to this Promotional Offer.
