eBay charges Final Value Fees when your items sell.
This fee is calculated as a percentage of the total amount of the sale. The total amount of the sale is the amount the buyer pays, including any Shipping and Handling charges. Sales tax isn't included in the calculation.
You won't be charged an Insertion Fee if you still have an allotment of Zero Insertion Fee Listings available in a given month. However, you will still need to pay a Final Value Fee when your item sells.
The Final Value Fee can vary depending on which local eBay website you list your items on and whether you are a business seller.
