To accept payments from buyers, you need to create a PayPal account. PayPal is a worldwide online payments system that allows you to securely send and accept payments.
We recommend you to create a PayPal account in advance, before you get your eBay seller account. But you can do it any time later.
How to register for an eBay account
If you already have an eBay account, you can skip this step by going directly to the seller’s registration page.

After filling in the Form with contact information, click Continue.
The registration system will ask you to confirm the phone number. To do this, enter the security code (PIN code) in the special field.

An eBay seller account created. The Tell us what are you selling page will automatically open. At this step, it is not necessary to fill it in. You can return to it later.

The best payment method is PayPal. So you can get paid for the goods and pay fees from the same account.
If you choose to pay by PayPal, you'll be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the process.
If you already have a PayPal account, after logging in to the PayPal site, you will be asked to confirm the selected payment method.
If you don't have a PayPal account yet, you need to register and confirm the chosen payment method.

It is important! When you change your account type, you need to change the eBay fees payment method, because the Business Account does not allow you to pay fees via PayPal.
f your account is showing as unverified then you may have problems with eBay or you may be at risk from attempted fraud.
To avoid this, you need to verify your PayPal account.
To become a verified user, you must do the next steps in your PayPal account:

A 4-digit PayPal code appears on your debit or credit card statement with the charge. Your code will look like this in the item description section of your statement: PayPal*1234 CODE or PP*1234 CODE.
If you view your card statements online, you can check for the code in a few days. Otherwise, check for the code when you receive your next statement by mail.
Note: PayPal will charge $1 from your card. Once you have confirmed your card, this amount is refunded to your PayPal account immediately or to your card within 30 days.
