Listings or products that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others are not allowed on eBay.
What is the VeRO program?
eBay created the Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program so that intellectual property owners and their authorized representatives could report listings or products that infringe on their intellectual property rights. It is in eBay's interest to ensure that infringing items are removed from the site, as they are illegal, and erode the trust of our buyers and sellers.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that any item they list on eBay is authentic and that their listing does not infringe on the rights of others.
If you see a listing that you think violates the rights of the intellectual property owner, you can help by informing the rights owner.
Reasons why listings can be reported
Your listings may be reported for infringements such as trademark infringement, copyright infringement, brand name misuse, and logo misuse. A more detailed list of reasons is available in the Seller FAQs section at the bottom of the VeRO Program page.
How to create a legally compliant listing?
Write your own text for your listing and take your own photos or use those you have a license from the rights owner to use and post. Don't use text or images from web searches, manufacturer websites, third-party product catalogs, or other sources without specific permission from the owner of the content. If you're creating a listing that has been added to the eBay product catalog, you can take advantage of images and product details that are already available.

What do I do if my listing has been removed?
When eBay receives notice through VeRO that a listing allegedly infringes intellectual property rights, it must be removed as soon as possible.
If you believe your listing was reported and removed in error, contact the rights owner directly. The email sent to you about the removal will include the rights owner's contact information. If the rights owner has made a mistake, they should email eBay to retract their report.
